Comments: i visited dr. popper after suffering for 4 years with sciatica in my right leg. he discovered a collapsed L5 vertebrae that was most likely compressing the sciatic nerve causing low back pain with radiculopathy. the pain was severely limiting my walking abilities outside of the house. i was on numerous pain medications with little to no effect. he performed the appropriate surgery including removal of bone, bone graft and fusion. its now been 4 weeks post-op and i have had no sciatic pain since. i am now walking outdoors approximately 4-5 times a week and am now able to walk up to 1.3 miles at a time.
